Shipping delays & outages

A shared picture of which vendors and carriers are delivering on time, built from members' own parts orders.

This part of the site runs on shared data, so it is opt-in

Nobody knows which vendors and carriers are running late until it happens to them. If repair shops pool their real parts orders, everyone can see it: who ships when they say they will, which carrier is losing parcels this week, where customs is holding things. That only works with real orders from real shops, and it is only fair if the people looking at it are the people who put theirs in.

The rule: give to get

You see the delay map and the delivery averages only after you opt in and log at least one shipment of your own. If you do not want to share, that is completely fine. The rest of the site works the same; you just will not see this data, and nothing of yours is used.

What you put in

For each order: the vendor, the carrier, the dates it was ordered, shipped and delivered, how it turned out, and the town it went to. A tracking number is optional.

What other members see

Averages per vendor, carrier and country, which need at least three orders before they show, and an anonymous dot on the map placed to within about 10 km of the destination. Delay reports you post are shown without your name.

What stays private

Your name, your individual orders, your tracking numbers and your notes are never shown to other members or to vendors. Site admins can see entries so they can remove fake ones.

Leaving

You can stop sharing at any time from My shipments. Your orders drop out of every average straight away, and you can delete them completely with one button. You lose access to the shared data when you stop.

You need an account to take part. Technician accounts are free.
